We have been operating within Oman since 2008 through our office in Muscat.
This organic expansion was initially driven by the appetite of local clients within the oil, gas and petrochemical sector to better tap into our knowledge and experience and benefit from our pragmatic and cost-effective safety and risk management solutions. We’re now extremely proud to have established a highly trusted local delivery team who are completely in tune with the needs and challenges of the local market and its working environment and culture.
The team works collaboratively with our other offices around the world to create a hugely powerful network of knowledge and experience that extends across all our services and the industries we support. Risktec is based at Office 42, 4th Floor, Building No. 777-1, Al Khuwair Business Centre.
Br road
From Muscat International Airport, exit left onto the Sultan Qaboos Street, signed ‘Muttrah’. Continue driving on Sultan Qaboos Street for approximately 13km, then take the slip road at the Al Ghubrah Flyover. Turn right, then left at the next set of traffic lights onto Dohat al Adab Street. Continue straight for approximately 500 meters, then take the first right at the traffic lights onto Al Kuleiah Street. Continue on Al Kuleiah Street for approximately 500 meters, passing Al Maha petrol station, then Safeer international Hotel, and Oman Arab bank on your right. Immediately after the Oman Arab Bank building, the “Al Khuwair Business Centre” building is on your right. The car park is at front of the building. The 4th floor of the building has a sign for TUV Rheinland Group. Proceed in the lift to the 4th floor where Risktec and TUV share an office.
If you are coming from Ruwi direction, take the Sultan Qaboos Street in the direction of Muscat Airport, then take the slip road at the Al Ghubrah flyover (immediately after the Shell Petrol Station on the right). Turn left, under the flyover, then left at the next set of traffic lights onto Dohat al Adab Street. Afterwards follow the directions above. Our office is located on the 4th floor, Building No: 777-1.
By air
The office is 20 minutes drive from Muscat International Airport. There are plenty of Taxis available at the airport and they will charge you around 8 Rials Omani for a one way trip. Just mention “Oman Arab Bank, Al Khuwair – Al Kuleiah Street” to the driver. Always pay at the taxi booth, don’t accept offers from non-authorised taxis.
